IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2020

IBPS, the organizing committee of IBPS Clerk, IBPS PO/MT and IBPS SO exams, is going to release conduct IBPS Clerk exam 2020 for the recruitment of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in numerous public banks across the country. The IBPS conducts online entrance exams for the recruitment of Clerical Cadre, Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees and Specialist Officers. Since the IBPS committee released the tentative dates for IBPS Clerk exam 2020, students are in a rush to find out if they are eligible to apply for the exam.

There is no major change in the eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk 2020 as compared to last year. Let’s check out the detailed information about IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2020.

Candidates applying IBPS Clerk VI Examination 2020 must satisfy the criteria mentioned below:

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2020

Qualification:

Applicants must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Candidates are required to have operating and working knowledge of computers. They should have a certificate/degree or diploma in computer operations or language.

Along with the qualification, the candidate must be proficient in the official language of the state or territory where s/he wants to apply.

Age Limit:

Candidates must have attained the age of 20 years and must not be above 28 years of age. However, there will be a relaxation of the upper age limitations for applicants belonging to the reserved categories.

A domicile of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989

7.

Individual affected during 1984 riots

5 years


Nationality:

Applicants must be the citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan.

Tibetan refugees who had migrated to India before January 1, 1962 to settle down in India permanently can also apply.

Applicants of Indian origin who had migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam are also eligible to apply for IBPS Clerk VI 2020.

(Note: Such candidates are required to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India)
