IBPS PO 2020 exam pattern, which is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), includes three phases of the recruitment process - 1-hour online preliminary exam, 2-hours online main exam and an interview.

IBPS PO is an all India level examination that is taken up by thousands of aspirants who wish to be appointed as Probationary Officers (PO) in the nationalised banks of India. Preparing for IBPS requires one to be focused and have in-depth knowledge about every area related to the exam. In this regard, the exam pattern will be helpful to provide a basic idea about what type of questions can be asked or what are the subjects the exam will cover.
IBPS Bank PO exam pattern 2020-18 also notifies about the negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer given by the candidates in the online multiple-choice exam.

IBPS PO 2020 exam pattern defines the test format of an online or offline test including the number, types of questions and marking scheme. Candidates appearing for the entrance exam must know the exam pattern of IBPS PO 2020 in advance.

The PO exam written test paper includes five sections which are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and General Awareness with special reference to banking industry and Computer Knowledge. The detailed IBPS PO 2020 syllabus is given below:

IBPS PO 2020 Main Exam Pattern

IBPS PO main exam pattern will be changed from this year. From 2020 onwards, the main exam will have descriptive answer type questions where the candidates will have to write essays.

The candidates will have to appear in the preliminary exam conducted by IBPS in the month of October 2020. Those who qualify IBPS PO prelim exam by meeting the cut-off criteria will have to appear for the IBPS PO 2020 main exam, which has been scheduled to be conducted on November 26, 2020. After qualifying the main exam, candidates will have to face the final phase of selection, which is the interview round. The aspirants, who qualify in the final phase, will be appointed in PO cadre at any of the participating banks across India. Candidates should also check IBPS PO 2020 dates to ensure that they don’t miss any important event.
