DU Releases Seventh Cut off List 2020

DU Admission 2020 – Another cut-off list in an effort to fill all the seats under the DU has been released on Thursday, July 27, 2020. This cut-off list is the seventh one in a series of eight lists (as per DU officials). The sixth Delhi University cut-off list 2020 has already been released on July 21 and the eighth one is to be released after seventh cut-off, if necessary. The admission based on the 7th cut-off will remain open until July 28, 2020.

Highlights of DU Seventh Cut-off List in 2020:

By the time seventh cut-off list was released, most of the general category seats were filled for the academic session 2020-17. However, reserved category candidates had chances of getting admission as the majority of seats lying vacant in colleges across DU belonged to the reserved quota.

DU Seventh Cut-off List 2020: Vacant Seats in DU Colleges:

BA History (Hons) course was available at Hindu College at 95.50 percent and Miranda House had admissions for various courses at 94.50 percent. Gargi had seats available in BA History (Hons) at 88.50 percent, Dyal Singh College was offering admissions at 84 percent and Maitreyi College offered admission to BA (Hons) Political Science program at 87 percent. Similarly, Daulat Ram College had admission open for B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry course at 92 percent, while Hansraj and Hindu College had B.Sc (Hons) Physics course open at 95.66 percent.

 

DU Admission Process after Seventh Cut-off list 2020:

Admission under the seventh cut-off list will remain open until the majority of the seats are filled. Students who have already registered through DU centralized admission platform need to apply again for the vacant seats after which colleges with seats vacant will come up with the merit list.
