BITSAT 2020 Syllabus

BITSAT 2020 Syllabus- BITSAT 2020 is a university level examination, organized by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. BITSAT exam is an online based examination conducted to provide admissions to all the degree courses offered by BITS and its other campuses. Through BITSAT students will be getting admission in engineering, pharmacy & science courses. The syllabus will include the subjects, topics which will be asked in the examination of BITSAT. Ideally, candidates planning to appear for the exam should start preparing six to seven months in advance.

The syllabus of BITSAT 2020 will be based on the NCERT syllabus of 11th & 12th standard. The syllabus will comprise of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. Check here for the detailed BITSAT 2020 syllabus here.

Part III: (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning

(a) English Proficiency

This test is designed to assess the test takers’ general proficiency in the use of English language as a means of self-expression in real life situations and specifically to test the test takers’ knowledge of basic grammar, their vocabulary, their ability to read fast and comprehend, and also their ability to apply the elements of effective writing.

(b) Logical Reasoning

The test is given to the candidates to judge their power of reasoning spread in verbal and nonverbal areas. The candidates should be able to think logically so that they perceive the data accurately, understand the relationships correctly, figure out the missing numbers or words, and to apply rules to new and different contexts. These indicators are measured through performance on such tasks as detecting missing links, following directions, classifying words, establishing sequences, and completing analogies.

How to Prepare for BITSAT 2020

The candidates should know the syllabus and exam pattern of BITSAT 2020 for a better result. The preparation strategy will be different for each and every person, though planning plays an important role in the long run. These are the guidelines to the candidates who wish to pursue engineering as their career through BITSAT 2020. The question should come within oneself that whether you are clear about the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and the mode of examination.

  • Make a list of holidays and other events. Make a plan/strategy for preparation accordingly.
  • Make timetable according to your timings considering other extra-curricular activities as well and follow it properly.
  • Give time to each subject and give attention to those subjects which need proper preparation and hard work
  • Solve as many question papers as you can. Give mock tests
  • Be calm and composed. Have a healthy diet and sleep
